Athletes of the Month: December
Every month the athletic department will recognize 1 boy and 1 girl from both the High School and 1 Athlete per sport, per month at the Middle School campus for outstanding athletic achievement and character qualities. These candidates are nominated by their coaches.
Sydney Moran
Senior Sydney Moran inspires her team with her passion and dedication to the game of basketball. She recently scored 28 points in the game against Rancho to reach 1,000 career points. Sydney encourages her teammates during success and challenges. She continues to grow as a leader both on and off the court. The future is bright for Sydney Moran!
Adam Craig
Adam Craig displays exceptional leadership both on and off the field. Over the years, Adam has been a consistent servant of his teammates and he has won their respect as a captain this year. Adam leads a rock solid defense which has only given up two goals in the first seven games of the season. He is an excellent example of someone who works hard for his teammates and pushes them to be their very best.
MIDDLE SCHOOL
Haley Juttner
Haley Juttner always has a great attitude and approach to the game. Her constant smile is infectious and she is a great teammate. Haley has a willingness to learn that coaches covet in the players they coach.
Jake Valencia
Jake Valencia works hard in practice and exemplifies great leadership qualities. On the season so far he has hit a double, single, and stolen 3 bases. He has the potential of being a next level player and the work ethic to get there.
