The Linfield varsity cheer team traveled to Palm Springs on August 5th for UCA cheer camp. They competed in multiple categories against several schools, including fellow Ambassador league schools Aquinas, Arrowhead, and Woodcrest. The Lions earned the Gold Superior Award in cheer and rally routine, first place in rally routine and sideline overall, and second place in cheer and game day. Other awards included Superior Squad Champion overall, Traditions Award in leadership overall, and Spirit Stick Winners all days. Individually, senior Ashlynn Neal, junior Mykah Bisson, and sophomore Taylor Uebersetzig received All-American honors.
