Coach Loczi began coaching with the Linfield boys soccer program in 2016 as an assistant coach. This will be his second year as the co-head coach. He began playing the game at the age of 4 in Gothenburg, Sweden, and eventually ended up in Southern California. He was involved in the Olympic Development Program from ages 11 to 18. Coach Loczi spent his last two years of high school in London, England and was afforded the opportunity to train with Wimbledon FC in the esteemed English Premier League. He also played for the American School in London and was named one of the top 11 players in Europe, MVP of the European International Schools, and won first place in Europe as captain of his school team. Coach Loczi was recruited and joined the Division 1 program at UC Irvine but due to illness was forced to sit out his freshman year.  After his freshman year of college, he stopped playing competitively and decided to pursue a career in music but has always continued playing soccer for the joy of it. As a coach, Loczi genuinely believes in helping all players become a better version of themselves, by cultivating an atmosphere of authentic learning and positive mentorship and utilizing the game of soccer as a vehicle to assist in the evolution of each athlete. Coach Loczi is currently the Director of Goalkeeping for Murrieta Surf Soccer Club, a private goalkeeper trainer, and an international DJ, Music Producer, and Creative Director of festivals and concerts. He is married to his wife Angela and has two daughters Tehya and Eko.
