Coach Randy Ivey began as an assistant coach with the Linfield tennis program and assumed the head coach role in 2016. As a junior tennis player, Coach Ivey was a top 5 ranked player and earned a partial scholarship to UC Irvine, a consistently top 15 ranked national program. In his time as a collegiate tennis player, he played both singles and doubles, and competed against several top 100 world ranked players. Coach Ivey got into coaching in 2011, learning from and coaching alongside several top ATP professionals and was USPTA certified. He teaches tennis privately to students as an occupation, but enjoys the team and competition aspect as a coach at Linfield and challenges his athletes to work hard, improve, and win.
