Linfield has a rich tradition of excellence in Athletics. Student-athletes are provided with an opportunity to participate in multiple sports, and through their experiences, they are challenged to develop and hone their skills; they are encouraged to grasp life-long lessons, and they are motivated to become competent leaders and great teammates. The school has a long history of winning CIF championships and seeing our athletes compete at the collegiate level.

The athletic vision at Linfield Christian is to build Champions for Christ and Champions for Life through participation in the athletic program. The Lions have won 100 League Championships, 16 CIF-SS Championships, 7 CIF-SS Runner Up titles, and 10 CIF-SS Academic Team Championships. This past year (2018), Linfield graduated 11 student-athletes who signed National Letters of Intent to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level. We aim to deliver Linfield’s mission through athletics, fostering an environment in which students learn to compete but also learn to value leadership, sacrifice, self discipline, and teamwork. The goal is for Linfield student-athletes to utilize what they have learned in our program to guide them later in life.

Our vision is to build Champions for Christ, Champions for life.

Linfield Christian School Athletics is committed to cultivating a culture of achievement and respect, one that is unified and motivated by our value of character, community, and championships. As a department, we seek to challenge students to:

  • (Character) Develop Christ-centered character traits so that it will lead to personal growth.

  • (Community) Learn how to work with others as a team in pursuit of a common goal so that they can perform and adhere to codes of fairness and respect for all.

  • (Championships) Embrace self-discipline so that it will allow one to take their talents to the highest levels of performance.

In order that they may be victorious in their athletic and life pursuits.
