Coach Amber Young began coaching the Lions’ Track and Field program in 2007. During the course of time she has led both boys and girls teams to numerous Ambassador League Championships and received multiple Coach of the Year awards. In high school, she threw the shot put, discus, and javelin in Washington, and went to state as a junior for the discus. Coach Young views track and field at Linfield as an opportunity for all student-athletes to use their God-given talents and abilities to challenge themselves to compete each day to the best of their ability.
