Coach Harmony Pyper joined the Linfield girls basketball program in 2016 and was head varsity assistant during 2018-2019 when the Linfield girls’ basketball team won their first CIF-SS Championship. Coach Pyper grew up in Wisconsin and was a competitive swimmer, basketball player and track athlete. She was a captain on her high school basketball team both junior and senior year and received All-Conference honors as a senior. Coach Pyper earned her bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from UW-Madison and later went on to complete her Master’s degree at the University of Southern California.  Coach Pyper is a Gold licensed Basketball Coach through USA Basketball and she also serves as a volunteer coach with USA basketball. In the summer months Coach Pyper is a selected coach at USA Basketball Coach, Don Showalter’s, highly respected Snowvalley Basketball Camp in Waverly, Iowa. Coach Pyper’s goals as a coach are to empower student athletes through hard work, overcoming challenges, communication, teamwork, and faith so that they may achieve their best in their sport and in life. Coach Pyper moved to Temecula in 2010 and is married with four children and two dogs. When not in the gym, you can find Coach Pyper drinking coffee, painting in her art studio, or enjoying movie night with her family.
